For applications from 1 September 2026, IRCC requires CAD 23,448 for a single student’s yearly living costs outside Quebec, plus first-year tuition and travel. Each family member coming with you adds CAD 6,318. At CAD 1 = BDT 86.92, the living amount alone is about BDT 2.04 million.
Exchange rates change daily. Show more than the minimum so a weaker taka does not push you below the line.
The Singapore instructions ask for a bank book or statements showing at least 4 months of history and the balance, a written explanation of where the money came from, and proof of your parents’ income. Other assets such as property or investments can be added but do not replace these documents.
The Singapore instructions ask for a one-page plan explaining why you chose this program in Canada, your overall education goal, why you are not studying a similar program at home, how it will improve your job chances at home, and your ties to Bangladesh.
If it has been more than 2 years since you left full-time education, add your CV.
A notarized copy of every university or college diploma and transcript. If you have not graduated yet, give the expected graduation date and the degree, diploma or certificate you will get. The instructions also highly recommend IELTS Academic results from the last year.
Most students need a provincial attestation letter (PAL) from their school; master’s and doctoral students at a public institution are among those exempt. The Singapore instructions also ask for original police certificates from each country where you lived 6 months or more since age 18.
