IRCC calls the Pakistani document a Police Character Certificate or Police Clearance Certificate. Each province issues its own. Medical exams are done at IOM clinics on IRCC’s panel physician list, and Urdu documents need certified translations.

How do I get a police certificate from Pakistan for Canada?

Apply to the police in the province where you lived. Islamabad, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Punjab each have their own procedure. In Punjab you can apply at any Police Khidmat Markaz. The certificate is sent by courier or collected from the office where you applied.

How do I get a Pakistani police certificate if I live outside Pakistan?

Contact the nearest Pakistani embassy or consulate. IRCC lists what to bring: the application form, certified copies of your passport pages showing legal stay, a certified copy of your CNIC, 3 passport-size photos and the fee.

A relative in Pakistan can sometimes apply for you. They need the same documents plus an affidavit on PKR 20 judicial stamp paper and an authority letter in their name.

Where do I do the Canada immigration medical in Pakistan?

Only with a panel physician on IRCC’s list. For Pakistan, IRCC lists IOM Migration Health Assessment Centres in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. Reports from other hospitals are not accepted. Bring your passport and any medical instructions IRCC sent you.

Which Pakistani civil documents does IRCC accept?

IRCC’s Islamabad instructions say documents must name the applicant and be issued by the authority in the district where the event happened. Affidavits are not accepted to prove marriage, divorce, death or custody. Birth certificates count if the birth was registered shortly after it happened.

  • CNIC copy for each adult.
  • Nikah Nama with the Nikah registry seal for marriages.
  • NADRA Family Registration Certificate (FRC) can support family relationships.

Do Urdu documents need translation?

Yes. Any document not in English or French must come with a certified translation. Upload the Urdu original together with the translation. If the translator is not a certified member of a translation organization, IRCC also requires an affidavit from the translator.
