You apply to a province for a nomination under one of its streams. If the stream is linked to Express Entry, the nomination adds 600 CRS points. Other streams use a separate federal application after nomination. Each province sets its own rules and yearly numbers.
Many streams do, but not all. Some provinces invite Express Entry candidates without a job offer when their occupation or profile matches local needs. Streams change often, so check the province’s own website before paying for anything.
No. Nominations come only from the provincial government. Anyone offering a “guaranteed nomination” or a job that comes with a nomination for a fee is a warning sign. Only licensed RCICs or lawyers may charge for Canadian immigration advice.
Expect the same core documents as Express Entry: an ECA for your degree, approved language test results, experience letters matching the job duties, and later an Indian Police Clearance Certificate and an IRCC medical exam with a panel physician.
