Apply at CID Headquarters in Accra, where fingerprints are taken. Residents need a passport, the fingerprint check form and the fee. Non-residents file the nominal vetting form with two photos, passport data page, parents’ names, address, last school and fingerprints. A friend or relative can apply on your behalf.
Your WASSCE results, diplomas and transcripts from every school since secondary level. Study permit applicants to the Accra office need a current school letter and transcript plus last year’s transcript. WAEC Ghana offers result verification, attestation and certificate requests if a school or assessor wants confirmation.
Bank statements or a bank book showing history and balance, with the source of money explained. IRCC’s study permit rules now ask for six months of statements. For Express Entry, each bank must write an official letter on letterhead with account numbers, opening dates, balances, six-month averages and debts.
Yes, if they are included or travelling. The Accra study checklist asks for copies of birth certificates for minor children. You can also add family, financial, employment or property documents that show ties to Ghana, which helps the officer believe you will return after a temporary stay.
